Frequently Asked Questions

Are the bike tours suitable for beginners and casual riders?
Yes. You need to ride a bike comfortably, not fast. Routes run mostly on bike lanes, quiet streets and riverside paths, the pace is easy and we stop often for photos and stories.
Can I ride an e-bike?
Yes. In Barcelona the e-bike upgrade costs €20 per person and is for riders 150 cm and taller. In Paris it costs €30 per person and is for riders aged 14 and over. You add it when you book.
Can children join?
Yes, if they ride confidently and are at least 120 cm tall. Younger children can ride in a child seat on request, and in Paris also on a tag-along trailer bike. After booking, send us each child's age and height so we can have the right bikes ready.
What happens if it rains?
In light rain that is still safe, the tour runs on a careful route. If conditions become dangerous, we contact you as early as possible to reschedule or offer alternatives.
What languages are the tours in?
Barcelona bike tours run in English, French, Dutch and German. Paris bike tours and the Barcelona tapas tour run in English and French. The Paris medieval walk is in English. You choose the language when you pick a time.
Which cities do you run tours in?
Barcelona and Paris. Tours in Madrid and Valencia are paused at the moment.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes and flat, closed-toe shoes. Bring water, sunscreen in summer, a warm layer for winter evenings and your camera. We provide the bike, a helmet if you want one and a short safety briefing before we start.
