Questions from school travel organisers
How many students can you take at once?
Around 100 per city in one session, by arrangement, split into small groups with a guide each: up to nine students in Barcelona, up to fifteen in Paris. The limit is how many guides are free on the day, so the earlier you ask, the better.
Do teachers pay?
No. Accompanying teachers ride free, with the groups.
What is the student-to-guide ratio?
Each small group has its own guide: up to nine riders in Barcelona, up to fifteen in Paris. Teachers ride with the groups on top of that; we don't set a teacher-to-student ratio, the school does.
What if some students can't ride a bike?
Tell us in advance. Every rider needs to be confident on a bike, so we'll talk through options for those who aren't, rather than find out on the day.
Are you insured?
Yes. We hold civil liability insurance and can send you the certificate.
Can the tour run in French or German?
Yes. Our guides work in English, French, Dutch and German. In Paris, tours run in English and French.
Do you work with agencies on commission?
We work with agencies on agency rates. Write to us and we'll send them with availability for your dates.
Is this the same as your public tour?
The route and the guides are the same as on our public bike tours in Barcelona and Paris. School groups ride on their own, and we adapt the start, finish and timing to the trip.
