Tapas in Sant Antoni, with someone who lives here

Two hours through Sant Antoni and the Raval in a small group, with a guide who knows the neighbourhood and its bars. We start at a casa de menjars, the kind of plain, everyday eatery where Barcelona sits down to lunch, then move on to a bar in the Raval, the Sant Antoni market and an old bodega, and finish with churros at a xurreria. At each stop your guide picks the tapas, platillos and local wines worth sharing, and tells you the story behind each dish and why food matters so much in Catalonia. And at some point someone will hand you a porró, the glass jug Catalans have been drinking wine from, at arm's length, for generations.
